Here for sale we have a Fender Player Telecaster in Candy Apple Red finish. Made in Mexico in 2023, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, a Maple neck and a 21 fret Maple fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with Chrome hardware including a 6-Saddle String-Through-Body Tele bridge with Block Steel Saddles, Knurled Flat-Top control knobs, and Standard Cast/Sealed tuners. The pickups featured are a pair of Fender Player Series Alnico 5 Tele Single-Coil pickups, these are wired to a master volume, master tone and 3-way toggle switch. The Maple neck plays well, with the 'Modern C' profile feeling fast and articulate, whilst the Satin finish to the rear ensures effortless transitions into any position. The lacquered Maple fingerboard provides a robust and durable playing surface, and with its 9.5" radius offers a perfect marriage between comfortable playability and modern practicality. The single cut-away design provides the player with extended reach into the upper register, ensuring you can make use of all 22 Medium Jumbo frets.The Player Series Alnico 5 Tele Single-Coil pickups provide all of the classic Telecaster tones that you would expect, with plenty of roundness and warmth in the neck and cutting, trebly 'Tele Twang' in the bridge. All aspects of the headstock demonstrate very light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The front face edge demonstrates small indentations between the tuners.Neck: Overall very good condition. The fingerboard demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The rear of the neck demonstrates small indentations in line with the 8th and 15th frets. None of these markings can be felt beneath the strings or by the hand in playing position.Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching and indentations. The front face demonstrates indentations at the edge, near where the forearm rests, to the centre of the lower bout, below the bridge and most notably at the treble side of the lower bout, where the finish has been pierced and scuffed. The sides demonstrate small indentations at the bass side of the lower bout, with another near the input jack. None of these markings have removed the finish to reveal the wood beneath.Condition of Frets:The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.Current Set Up:Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light to mild scratching and tarnishing is apparent to the bridge, tuners, control plate and neck plate.
