Video emerged today of Koko the gorilla plucking away at a Jazz Bass alongside Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The bass appears to be one of Flea's recently announced Fender signature models.
Koko - famous for her ability to use sign language and her friendships with Robin Williams and an adorable kitten - can be seen experimenting with various plucks of the strings and twists of the volume and tone knobs.
As Flea explains in the video above: “This is the greatest thing that could ever happen. This is the day I’ll never forget in my life.”
