Hardware & Electronics
Pickups:
Gibson Burstbucker 2 in the neck and Burstbucker 3 in the bridge (Alnico II magnets with Historically unmatched bobbin windings; reading approx. 7.9k–8.1k ohms neck / 8.3k–8.5k ohms bridge).
Controls: 2 Volume, 2 Tone, CTS Potentiometers, Bumblebee Capacitors, 3-way toggle switch.
Knobs: Distinctive mismatched control knobs. Amber Top Hat knobs control the neck pickup while Gold Reflector Top Hat knobs control the bridge pickup.
This design allows Joe to feel which control he is adjusting by touch alone while singing.
Plastics: Black plastic appointments (including black pickup rings, pickguard, and switchwasher) mimicking select 1957 transitions.
Bridge & Tailpiece: Non-wire ABR-1 bridge paired with a lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece.
Tuning Machines: Grover Kidney Rotomatic tuners.
There are several interesting features in this guitar. The neck's profile is asymmetrical, narrower up and wider down, which is very comfortable.
Aesthetic Details
Headstock: Slightly narrower early-1950s style headstock outline with a lower-positioned inlaid Gibson logo.
Truss Rod Cover: Inscribed with the "Bonamassa" signature name.
It's a very good opportunity to pick up one the Gibson's more desirable artist limited-run at a Les Paul Custom pricing
