the Grundig GDM 121 is one of the classic omnidirectional dynamics of the late 1950s and 1960s. Manufactured by Sennheiser for Grundig, the GDM 121 is effectively the same microphone as the highly regarded Sennheiser MD 21 series, sharing its robust construction, omnidirectional capsule design, and natural sound character. Originally intended for radio, reporting, public address, and professional tape recording, the GDM 121 remains a practical and highly collectible vintage microphone today.

BUILD & DESIGN

The GDM 121 features the distinctive flat-bodied housing that became famous through the Sennheiser MD 21.
