All original custom color Jazzmaster from late 1966!

Weight is around 3.6 kg's and it plays and sounds like an absolute dream. I really don't think a 60's Jazzmaster can get much better than this, it truly is a gem. Medium C neck profile is not too beefy nor too skinny.

I don't think the frets have ever been dressed/filed on this one, and certainly they are the original frets because the fret nibs are still there.

The front of the guitar has very slightly faded to almost a Firemist Red-kind of finish, really beautiful. The back of the guitar remains more the original CAR shade.

Some use marks here and there and a cigarette burn on the headstock, but other than that it's really pristine. There is basically no checking to the finish other than on the back of the headstock, and even there it's quite subtle. The rhythm circuit switch is a bit temperamental, I haven't yet tried to clean it. Otherwise all electronics work as intended.

Neck stamp 13NOV66B. Pickups date to June and November of 1966.

Comes in it's original HSC which is a bit tattered but all the latches work and it's holding up really well. The case pocket department has come loose but is otherwise in one piece.
