Ok folks, this is a FIRST YEAR Fender SRV Strat, from 1992. It's in pretty good condition being 34 years old ! The sunburst on 1992 SRV's is really, really beautiful.
I never saw any earliest date on any SRV Strat before. Neck is stamped from 27th January 1992. I've taken so many close-up pics from fretboard ; veins are beautiful. Neck's back even shows some flames ! Body's date seems to be JUL 02 1992, but month is hardly visible (see pic).
The guitar presents signs of use, it's obvious, with light scuffs and not-through-the-varnish dings and dongs. There's also a small chip near high E tuner on front headstock.
The OHSC is in good+ condition (all latches work fine), and the guitar comes with a lot of goodies, including trem's arm and even with the little spring for trem's arm's hole.
Recent Custom Shop NOS version is retailing for over 4.000 €, making this first year SRV Strat a steal !
