I am offering an Epiphone Les Paul Standard Joe Bonamassa Signature from 2012, a limited edition of 1,000 pieces Joe Bonamassa signature model with solid mahogany body, arched maple top, set long-neck tenon mahogany neck with '59 Rounded D neck profile, bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid pearloid inlays, a hot sounding HH pickup configuration consisting of a Gibson USA Burstbucker 2 on the neck and a Gibson USA Burstbucker 3 on the bridge as well as Grover Rotomatic tuners in radiant gold top high-gloss finish with nickel hardware in excellent collector's condition incl. brown hardshell case, certificate (C.o.A.) and professional setup with 10-gauge Ernie Ball strings.
Joe Bonamassa is one of the best-known living blues guitarists of all time with his virtuosity, passionate playing style and love for the blues. He has been making history with his music for over 30 years, has received numerous Grammy nominations for his work and is known for his meticulous selection of instruments with his Nerdville collection.
To honor this unique musician, Epiphone launched a signature model in 2014, limited to 1,000 pieces, which combines all the specs according to Joe Bonamassa's ideas. The result is an absolute premium high-end model and one of the best that Epiphone has to offer: this guitar is in no way inferior to a Gibson in terms of workmanship, sound and look and boasts the crème de la crème of hardware and features.
The construction of this Epiphone Joe Bonamassa Paula follows a principle that has been tried and tested since 1952: the solid mahogany body carries a maple top and is glued to the neck, which is also made of mahogany. The bound rosewood fingerboard has 22 medium jumbo frets which, in conjunction with the '59-style Rounded D neck profile, ensure comfortable playability.
Two original Gibson USA BurstBuckers are used in the neck and bridge position, which deliver an authentic, warm humbucker sound in the style of the legendary PAFs and are ideal for slightly distorted blues, but also cut a fine figure in other genres.
A sound example of the model can be found above at the end of the photo gallery.
The Long Neck Tenon neck construction, which sits deep in the body, ensures incredible sustain and a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge enables clean intonation across all 22 medium jumbo frets.
The custom look with the Gold Top high-gloss finish with fine nickel hardware and two different pairs of knobs give the guitar its unmistakable look.
