The Taylor 114e is a Grand Auditorium that does a bit of everything, and does it well. Its solid spruce top and layered sapele back and sides give it a clear, balanced voice that works just as nicely for strumming as for flatpicking or fingerpicking. With Taylor's Expression System 2 pickup on board, it is as ready for the stage as it is for the couch.

The 100 Series brings Taylor's design and build quality to a very accessible price, and the 114e shows that well. The Grand Auditorium shape sits between a dreadnought and a concert body: big enough for a full, rich tone, yet comfortable to hold and nicely balanced across the strings. An ebony fingerboard and bridge, a 25.5" scale and a comfortable C profile neck make it an easy player, while the natural satin finish, black binding, multiple line purfling and rosette and tortoise pickguard give it a warm, understated look.

This 2014 114e shows light signs of play, with two small marks on the top and a few minor dings and scratches elsewhere on the body. The neck has started to gloss slightly, which is completely normal with use. Overall it is in excellent condition. It comes with a Taylor gigbag and a TFOA Passport.
