For sale: the legendary Universal Audio 6176 Vintage Channel Strip. An absolute studio classic that seamlessly combines the renowned 610 tube mic preamp with the iconic 1176LN FET compressor. [1, 2]
This unit has been used and shows some minor cosmetic signs of wear (such as rack rash/scratches on the chassis), but don't let that fool you: technically, it is in pristine condition! All potentiometers operate smoothly without crackle, the VU meter works perfectly, and the tubes sound warm and full, delivering the pure analog tone for which this unit is famous. [1, 2]
The preamp and compressor can be used independently or in series via the 'Split/Join' switch, making this an incredibly versatile workhorse for vocals, bass guitar, and drums. [1, 2]
Unit condition:
Technical: 100% sound, extensively tested, and fully functional.
Cosmetic: Used condition (scratches from rack mounting; see photos).
