Up for sale is a legendary Crane Song Avocet Discrete Class A Studio Monitor Controller designed by Dave Hill.
I am the first and original owner. The unit has been used exclusively in a smoke-free, climate-controlled professional studio environment and has been kept with great care. It is in excellent cosmetic and fully operational condition.

- Original Avocet desktop remote controller

- Completely discrete Class A analog circuitry with ultra-transparent signal path
- Ultra-precise stepped attenuator volume control (1 dB steps)
- Dedicated D/A conversion with multiple digital inputs (AES/EBU, S/PDIF)
- 3 stereo speaker outputs (configurable for subwoofer / 2.1)
- Advanced monitoring functions: Mono, Phase reverse, Dim, Mute, 16-bit dither check
- Built-in reference headphone amplifier and talkback system
- Switchable mains voltage (100V–240V, currently set to 230V for EU)
