The Argonaut is a no-frills pedal that delivers a relatively clean octave-up sound. When used on its own, it produces a raw sound reminiscent of a ring modulator, which is pretty funky.
The fun really begins when you combine it with your favorite overdrive or fuzz pedal. As soon as you combine them, all those legendary octave sounds we know and love jump out of the signal. It’s very touch-sensitive and a lot of fun.
The Argonaut uses a pair of hand-selected NOS germanium diodes to create the characteristic octave effect that’s present across the entire guitar neck.
Unlike conventional octave pedals, the octave effect is audible across the entire guitar neck!
The pedal is like new and still in its original packaging with all the case candy - see photo.
