Up for sale is a rare piece of British rock history: a late 1990s Orange OTR120 tube guitar amplifier head (Serial Number 1620).

The OTR (Oscillatory Transition Return) series is highly legendary and was produced for a very short window right after Cliff Cooper regained the Orange brand control from Gibson. To ensure ultimate boutique quality, these select transition units were handcrafted in Huddersfield, UK by Matamp (featuring the iconic pink "Seal of Approval" sticker on the back chassis).

Famously requested and tweaked for Noel Gallagher of Oasis during the late '90s, the OTR circuit modifies the traditional '70s OR120 layout to introduce more high-end "sparkle," slightly higher gain characteristics, and immense low-end punch.
