This is a wonderful vintage guitar with an exceptionally woody, warm, balanced and natural acoustic voice ( VIDEO )It has the open, dry character that only a well-played 1970s Guild can offer, with rich mids, great clarity and excellent projection. If you're looking for an authentic vintage American acoustic sound, this guitar delivers it.I've used this instrument professionally for concerts and studio recordings, and it has never let me down.The guitar is structurally sound with no cracks or repairs. The neck is straight, the truss rod works properly and it plays comfortably with low action.At some point in its life, part of the original finish on the top was removed, giving the guitar a more open, natural appearance. This is purely cosmetic and has no effect on its structural integrity or playability.The guitar is fitted with a high-end K&K pickup system with an onboard preamp, delivering an exceptionally natural amplified sound while preserving the character of the instrument.
