If you’re into quirky and iconic 1960s European guitars, this one is a real gem.

This is a beautiful 1964 Galanti Grand Prix V4, one of the most distinctive and innovative Italian electric guitars of the mid-1960s.

Made in Italy during the golden era of Italian guitar manufacturing, this model features the unmistakable asymmetrical body design, four chrome single-coil pickups and Galanti’s unique push-button pickup switching system.

The guitar delivers a wonderfully jangly, articulate vintage tone, perfect for garage rock, surf, psychedelic rock, spaghetti-western soundtracks, indie / alternative.

Visually it is pure 1960s Italian design — bold, futuristic and full of character.

This example is all original and comes with its vintage hard case.

Serial number 4861, placing it in the mid-1960s production.

Galanti guitars from the 1960s have become increasingly collectible, especially the Grand Prix models, which represent some of the most creative European guitar design of the era.

The guitar shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with age, including finish checking and light marks, but remains structurally solid and fully functional.

Electronics work correctly and the guitar plays nicely.

A fantastic piece of Italian guitar history and a great addition to any vintage collection.
