Here is a 2008 Z.Vex Octane 3, featuring a hand-painted multicoloured design over an orange-red finish. The underside bears serial number C131 and the handwritten date “10.8.08,” indicating October 8, 2008.
This octave-up fuzz delivers thick, aggressive saturation with rich harmonics and a wild, cutting character. Its three controls adjust input gain, tone and output volume.
The pedal works perfectly and is in very good overall condition, with a few small paint chips along the edges and some light surface marks on the underside. It features a standard centre-negative 9V DC power socket.
Includes its matching box, labelled with serial number C131, and pink drawstring protective pouch.
