The RC-2 is a highly successful compact looper, launched in the mid-2000s, allowing you to record, overdub and play back loops directly from the footswitches. It offers up to 16 minutes of total recording time, spread across 11 memories, with Undo/Redo, Auto Start, Tap Tempo and Loop Quantize functions to make it easier to create perfectly synchronized loops. It also features built-in rhythm accompaniment with several drum patterns, which is particularly useful for practicing alone or quickly building a backing track, as well as an AUX input for recording from an external source. An additional input allows you to connect an external footswitch for functions such as stop and tempo control. Despite its capabilities, it remains very easy to use and is particularly well suited to guitarists and bassists looking for an effective looper without moving to a larger format.
