There are certain guitars that stand the test of time and with its timeless design, effortless playability and rich history, it's easy to see why the Gibson ES-335 remains such an iconic guitar.
Featuring a 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body, it's finished in a really cool Sixties Cherry. Delivering a rich and authentic tone, the ES-335 is super resonant and beautifully balanced; it just oozes that real Gibson quality.
The neck is a real winner, crafted from solid Mahogany; it features a gorgeous dark Rosewood fingerboard, embellished with the classic dot it has a real vintage vibe. With 22 medium jumbo frets and a 24.75" scale length it feels smooth and comfortable, equally at home playing slick lead work or heavy chord strumming.
A pair of Custombucker Alnico III delivers those classic '60s tones, deep, rich and resonant they offer great clarity. These PAF style pickups are slightly underwound and feature unbalanced coils for a truly historic sound.
