The MXR Vintage Bass Octave enhances the warm, analog sub-bass tones of a classic circuit with superior tracking, cleaner headroom, and the versatility demanded by modern bassists.This pedal offers an impressive range of smooth, musical tones, from a growl that thickens your sound to chest-thumping bass, all in a space-saving MXR mini format.The Vintage Bass Octave’s sound is rich and guttural, and it’s available in two forms: one octave down and two octaves down.Each can be selected separately using the Oct 1 and Oct 2 volume controls, and with a Dry volume control for a clean signal, you can create the perfect blend for your rig.For greater clarity and definition, use the Mid switch to boost the midrange of your clean signal by +6dB at 800Hz.If you want even more of a boost, simply remove the bottom plate and adjust the internal trimpot to boost it up to +13dB.
