Make an offer!This is an early 1984 (45th day of production) Gibson Explorer Designer Series Artist Original featuring the rare "Lido" paint design. I had to do some online research to identify this particular finish, as these guitars rarely come up for sale.The Lido design features distinctive, colorful intersecting lines that form cross patterns across the guitar's body. Unlike mass-produced graphics, Gibson's Artist Originals were one-of-a-kind designs, individually hand-painted and initialed by a Gibson factory artist. This particular guitar bears the initials "S.S."The guitar is in overall good condition, with several dents, paint chips and damage around the edges of the body and on the back. Despite these cosmetic imperfections, the front of the guitar presents very nicely.It's a great-playing guitar with low action and a fast, comfortable neck. There is some light fret wear on a few of the frets, but nothing that affects playability.The guitar comes with its original Gibson hardshell case.Please review the photos and check out the video for a closer look.
