About this listing
The Fender American Professional Telecaster Maple in Oxblood marks a fresh chapter in Fender's modern professional lineup. You've seen the original American Professional, the American Professional II, and the American Professional Classic. This refreshed American Professional Series brings a redesigned top-load/string-through bridge and compensated brass saddles for improved intonation and more flexible setup options. Fender also adds Series Mode switching for a thicker, higher-output sound beyond the familiar three-way Tele tones, while tighter-tolerance controls and treble bleed help keep the instrument clear and responsive at lower volume settings. The deep Oxblood finish, black pickguard, and maple fingerboard give this version a darker, more distinctive look, while the underlying design remains focused on the clarity, simplicity, and reliability working Tele players depend on.The Deep "C" maple neck features rolled fingerboard edges, a 9.5" radius, and Fender's "Super-Natural" satin urethane finish for a smooth, comfortable feel. A sculpted neck heel improves access higher up the fingerboard, while 22 narrow tall frets provide an easy balance between traditional feel and modern lead playability. V-Mod III Telecaster single-coils deliver articulate attack, clear twang, and plenty of bite, making the guitar equally useful for clean rhythm work, pedal-heavy setups, and driven lead sounds. The three-saddle top-load/string-through bridge adds useful setup flexibility, while ClassicGear compensated brass Bullet saddles improve intonation and preserve the direct response players expect from a Tele. Fender staggered sealed tuners, a bone nut, and Micro-Tilt neck adjustment help keep the guitar stable and easy to maintain. We think the Oxblood version is a strong choice for players who want familiar Tele performance with a finish that stands apart from the usual options.Specifications:- Body Material: Alder- Body Finish: Polyurethane- Color: Oxblood- Neck Material: Maple- Neck Finish: "Super-Natural" Satin Urethane Finish on Back of Neck with Gloss Urethane Headstock Face- Neck Shape: Deep "C"- Nut Width: 1.685"- Scale Length: 25.5"- Fingerboard Material: Maple- Fingerboard Radius: 9.5"- Number of Frets: 22 Narrow Tall- Position Inlays: Black Dot- Side Dots: Black- Nut: Bone- Neck Plate: 4-Bolt Asymmetrical with Micro-Tilt Adjustment- Tuning Machines: Fender Standard Cast/Sealed Staggered- Bridge: 3-Saddle Top-Load/String-Through Tele with ClassicGear Compensated Brass Bullet Saddles- Hardware Finish: Nickel/Chrome- Pickguard: 3-Ply Black- Neck Pickup Cover: Chrome- Bridge Pickup Cover: None- Control Knobs: Knurled Dome- Bridge Pickup: V-Mod III Single-Coil Tele- Neck Pickup: V-Mod III Single-Coil Tele- Pickup Configuration: SS- Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone- Switching: 3-Position Blade- Made In: USA- Case: Deluxe Molded Hardshell CaseSku: 0111142730
