The Fender Bassman Blackface is an iconic version of the famous amp, originally designed for bass but quickly embraced by guitarists. Produced between 1964 and 1967, the Blackface Bassman features the all-tube AB165 circuit, known for its great clarity and pronounced mids. It’s highly regarded for its powerful clean tones and natural overdrive when pushed at high volume. On this unit, the power transformer and some other components have been replaced.
