For two decades, Tone King amps out of Baltimore have earned a reputation as absolute go-to amps for players craving vintage style and sound with modern reliability and innovation. The Imperial 1x12 combo was the first Tone King amp, and has become a benchmark in the boutique amp world. From spunky Tweed to lush Blackface tones, all manner of timeless American style amp voices can be dialed-in with the Imperial, and the MKII version takes things even further.
New for the MKII release of the Imperial is the use of Tone King's preferred "handwired board" wiring technique that combines the advantages of handwiring with the layout flexibility and reliability of of PC boards. It's a best-of-both worlds system. Also added is the Ironman II attenuator that allows you to achieve full-on tube tone bliss at any volume level.
