Handbuilt in France – A fully parametric two-band EQ for precise tone shaping and creative sound design. Description FR plus bas

EQ Cat is a fully analog two-band parametric equalizer designed to sculpt, correct or radically transform your tone.

Each independent band provides three controls:

• Frequency selects the area of the spectrum to shape
• Bandwidth focuses on a narrow range or works across a broader area
• Level cuts or boosts the selected frequencies, with the neutral position at noon

Use EQ Cat for subtle tonal correction, taming unwanted resonances, restoring definition, emphasizing selected frequencies before a drive pedal or reshaping your complete sound after it.

Push the controls further and it becomes a creative effect in its own right, capable of lo-fi radio tones, cocked-wah textures, nasal leads and unusual resonant colours.

Based on the Aion FX Paradox circuit, inspired by the vintage Pearl PE-10, EQ Cat offers true fully parametric control in a compact pedal format.

Features:

• Two independent fully parametric EQ bands
• Frequency, bandwidth and level controls for each band
• Cut or boost operation, neutral at noon
• Precise corrective EQ or radical creative filtering
• 100% analog circuit
• Suitable for guitar, bass and other instruments
• Bilingual quick-start guide with ten suggested settings

The ornate photographic artwork is produced on silver-halide photo paper using a Fuji Frontier. The green cat eye serves as the effect indicator.

Each EQ Cat is built to order in France.
