The Veteran is one of the rarest models in the Daion Savage line and is, as all the Daion/Yamaki guitars from this period, a great instrument. The neck has that pleasant asymmetrical, slight V-feel to it that fits your hand like a glove. The body has the expected signs of life but the frets look great. Comes with the original Daion hardcase and a whammy bar.

The model can be seen as Daion’s take on the Strat concept. All pickups and controls are mounted to the pickguard - like a Strat. It has two single coil pickups and a traditional strat-style vibrato with chrome saddles. The neck has rosewood fingerboards with 22 frets with pearloid dot position markers. Being made early in the production, it has a wood veneer headstock. Later on the headstocks were black.
