Overview
The Les Paul Traditional Plus features a mahogany body and neck, rosewood fretboard, figured maple top, traditional weight relief and '57 Classic/Burstbucker 3 humbuckers. Though frequently mistaken for the original Les Paul Traditional due to their serial model numbers, the Traditional Plus features different pickups and coil tapping humbuckers, while the original has neither the coil taps or boost circuits found on later Traditional series models. Traditional Plus models will have a model number beginning 'LPTD6k+' or 'LPTD5k+', as opposed to 'LPTD+', as found on the Les Paul Traditional
