All E Series / Traditional Series from Eastman are based on the iconic western guitars of the "pre-war golden-era". Thus, within this series you will find only traditional body shapes such as dreadnoughts, OMs, OOOs and OOs, without cut-away and without pickups. This E6 Slope Shoulder LG Gibson-style guitar is price-wise and specification-wise the ultimate "center-piece" of the traditional collection with its fine and proffesional specs at a wonderful price point. This particular model of the SS was specially developed in collaboration with American LA Guitars, and features a chic Sunburst finish!

The soundbox is all solid; sitka spruce top, mahogany sides and back, mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and hand carved scalloped X-bracing; a mix of hi-end specs that results in a very fine balance of insane mid projection (great for fingerstyle). The top of this SS is Thermo Cured. Thermo Cured guitars have a heat-dried top which makes the guitar sound significantly more resonant and dynamic.
