Selling my complete bass rig as one lot: an all-valve Orange AD200 Bass MK3 and a custom 4×10 / 1×15 cabinet I designed and built myself. Local pickup in Amsterdam only — the cab is 110 × 60 × 50 cm and around 40 kg, so shipping isn't realistic. Come and play it before you decide; with a valve amp you want to.

The amp — Orange AD200 Bass MK3
200 watts RMS, all-valve, Made in England, serial AD200-1179.05.04. Recently serviced with a complete new set of valves: four Electro-Harmonix KT88, a tested matched set, and the box comes with it. The AD200 takes either 6550 or KT88 — KT88 is the more expensive, higher-headroom option. Preamp: 12AX7A (ECC83), 12AX7 (ECC83), 12AT7 (ECC81). Output transformer: Douglas Electronic OT137SL, 200W, 2.75kΩ with CT, wound in Louth, Lincolnshire.

Controls: Master, Treble, Middle, Bass, Gain, plus Power and Standby. Rear panel: two 4Ω outputs, one 8Ω output, a Slave Output for feeding a PA or second amp, and output valve failure fuses that protect the amp if a power valve fails. New strap handle just fitted. Around 13 kg. This model never shipped with a retail box.

The cabinet — designed and built by me
One enclosure, two separate sections:

• 4×10" sealed section — four Celestion BL10-150 (150W each, 8Ω). Tight, fast, punchy.
• 1×15" bass-reflex section, tuned to low E — Electro-Voice OEM Series 3400 15B (400W). Twin ports.

The design is deliberate: the sealed tens give you attack and definition, the tuned fifteen carries the extension underneath. Plywood baffle, damped with both wadding and egg-crate foam. Neutrik Speakon connectors. Measured 4Ω — runs off the AD200's 4Ω output, which is how I've played it for ten years. 110 × 60 × 50 cm, around 40 kg, on large fixed wheels — you roll it rather than lift it, and it handles cobbles fine.

Condition: everything works. Honest cosmetic wear on both cabinet and amp, consistent with a rig that's been played — clearly visible in the photos, nothing hidden. Electrically sound and freshly serviced.
