The PLX-1000 is a professional direct-drive turntable with a quartz-locked 3-phase brushless DC motor. Starting torque reaches 4.5 kg/cm, and the platter achieves 33 1/3 rpm in 0.3 seconds.
Build
The top chassis is heavy-mass zinc die-cast, reinforced with an 8mm thick resin bottom section and a 9mm thick vibration-damping base. The tone arm uses rubber insulation to minimize howling, and the RCA jacks are gold-plated machine-cut parts for low-impedance output. Power and audio cables are detachable.
Tempo Control
Tempo ranges of ±8%, ±16%, and ±50% are selectable, with a dedicated reset button for instant ±0% fixed-speed playback.
