Peavey engineers conducted a blind A/B comparison between their new invention (a Bandit solid-state guitar amp) and a real competitor’s tube amp. After listening closely, and critiquing the sounds from each, no one could tell the difference between the two. Some "golden ears" that visited the booth that fateful day thought the TransTube® Bandit solid-state amp was the real tube amp.Peavey InnovationIn crafting the patented TransTube Circuitry, our engineers meticulously examined every facet of tube amp functionality.
