About this listing
Item is in perfect working condition Factory Overview: "Compact Size, Massive Volume"The Marshall product catalog highlights the 1912 as an exceptionally small yet powerful cabinet that allows gigging musicians to achieve the legendary, broad Marshall sound without the footprint of a traditional 2x12" or 4x12" setup. Designed with a bass reflex configuration featuring dual front-facing ports, the cabinet utilizes specialized internal acoustic tuning to project punchy, deep low-end frequencies that typically require a much larger enclosure. It is engineered to be run independently, stacked as a matching combo rig, or configured in pairs for a high-volume stereo amplifier stage setup. Premium Celestion G12B-150 SpeakerThe defining characteristic of the 1912's massive power handling is its factory-loaded 12-inch Celestion G12B-150 driver. Marshall product briefs specifically highlight its custom structural voice coil compared to traditional drivers.Enhanced Voice Coil: The G12B-150 is built with a larger 2-inch voice coil compared to the 1.75-inch voice coils found in standard Celestion G12T-75 drivers. Sonic Identity: This larger design, backed by a robust 50oz ceramic magnet, allows the speaker to produce exceptionally rich lower-mid frequencies, extended bass response, and a smooth top end. This prevents the tight, boxy "ice-pick" sound common to small 1x12" closed-back enclosures. Industrial Construction & AestheticsBuilt to withstand the physical demands of relentless touring, Marshall crafts the 1912 using heavy-duty cabinetry techniques: Enclosure: Built from 15mm medium-density fiberboard (MDF) with precision machined finger-locked/comb joints to minimize structural cabinet rattle and maximize air tightness. Cosmetics: Wrapped in authentic black elephant-grain PVC vinyl (Tolex), framed with classic white piping, and finished with a black grille cloth adorned with a large white script Marshall logo. Hardware: Features rugged ABS plastic protective corners, heavy-duty bottom rubber feet, and dual recessed, full-grip flush side handles for easy one-handed lifting and loading.
