Up for sale is a beautiful, 100% original 1998 Gibson EDS-1275 Doubleneck in the iconic Heritage Cherryfinish.Manufactured on May 18, 1998, at the historic Nashville, TN factory, this instrument comes from a highly desirable era of Gibson production. Late-'90s EDS-1275s are renowned for their exceptional build quality, stable neck joints, and incredible resonant sustain before the model was moved exclusively to the ultra-expensive Custom Shop line.Specifications & Condition:Serial Number: 913886935 (Verified May 1998)Finish: Heritage Cherry (Classic nitrocellulose lacquer)Electronics: 100% original factory humbuckers, wiring, and toggle switches. All electronics test clean and function perfectly.Structural Integrity: Excellent. The crucial neck-to-body heel joints are perfectly solid with no fractures or wood repairs. Both headstocks are completely intact.Hardware & Playability: Original Gibson deluxe tuners hold pitch beautifully. Both the 6-string and 12-string necks are straight with fully functional truss rods. Minimal fret wear. Note: One string is currently disconnected at the bottom tailpiece anchor and needs to be replaced.
