Vintage 1964 Neumann microphone in EXCELLENT CONDITION.
It belonged to a collector who purchased it from a television station, where it had served as a backup microphone.
The U 67 (serial number 2413) comes with a certificate of authenticity covering its servicing, measurements, and capsule cleaning, as well as a complete overhaul of the PSU (serial number 573). It carries a two-year warranty. The total cost—including the microphone and purchased accessories (modern case, Z48 shock mount, tube)—was €3,000.
THE MICROPHONE'S RESPONSE IS EXTRAORDINARY.
Photo 19 shows, from top to bottom, the response charts for cardioid, omnidirectional, and bidirectional patterns.
The PSU (serial number 573) was designed to slide into racks (much like the N52a) and connected to the control room via a dual output. Neumann has confirmed that it remains fully operational (see photo 20).
