About This Model
The Roland TD-9 is a percussion sound module built around Roland's V-Drums sound engine, offering 552 expressive drum sounds across 99 drum kits. It features a graphical LCD display with a Scope function for real-time visual feedback, and a Quick Rec/Quick Play system capable of storing approximately 32,000 notes at 480 ticks per quarter note. Connectivity includes a USB host port for WAV and MP3 audio playback, MIDI In/Out ports, and a stereo output. The module is compatible with the V-Hi-Hat (VH-11) and supports three-way ride triggering, making it a versatile hub for a wide range of V-Drums setups. Produced between 2008 and 2011, the TD-9 has since been discontinued by Roland.
