The Modern Eagle V is an innovative instrument that offers a great deal of musical versatility for both recording and live performances. By combining two humbuckers with coil-split functionality and a single-coil pickup positioned between them, the Modern Eagle V provides players with a wide range of tones in a single guitar.

The 5-way selector switch chooses the pickups in intuitive configurations: treble, treble and middle, middle, middle and bass, and bass. There is a single volume control and a push/pull tone control that activates both humbuckers when engaged, allowing players to access all three pickups simultaneously. Finally, the mini toggles allow players to split the humbucker coils individually. This electronic design puts a wide range of classic and modern tones within reach.

This PRS Modern Eagle is part of the Wood Library series and therefore features several unique specifications compared to the regular model. The guitar is equipped with an ebony fingerboard and Ziricote headstock veneer, while the iconic fingerboard inlays are crafted from beautiful abalone. The instrument is finished in a matte Burnt Maple Leaf finish on the guitar’s figured maple 10-top. It also features PRS’s reliable proprietary bridge and tuning machines.

This 2024 PRS is used but shows only light signs of play on the body, headstock, and tuning machines. The guitar is very clean and is in excellent condition. It comes with a TFOA passport and the original case.
