De FS-6 is een dubbele voetschakelaar van Boss in een degelijke behuizing. Beide schakelaars in de behuizing zijn afzonderlijk van elkaar in te stellen als “momentary” of “latching”, en het pedaal is hierdoor voor zeer veel verschillende toepassingen te gebruiken, bijvoorbeeld met effectpedalen, versterkers en digitale piano’s.

De FS-6 is aan te sluiten met een enkele TRS-plug (“stereoplug”), maar beide schakelaars zijn ook afzonderlijk aan te sluiten met aparte jacks.
