The Super Comp is an analog compressor directly derived from the famous Dyna Comp, but with a particularly interesting additional control: the Attack Level. This allows you to retain more of the "snap" and initial attack of the note while still benefiting from the sustain and compression typical of the Dyna Comp. The three controls are Output, Sensitivity, and Attack Level; the Sensitivity adjusts the amount of compression, and the Attack Level allows you to go from a very "squish" sound to a more open and dynamic compression. It offers up to 36 dB of compression, with an attack time of 5 ms.
