Descripción general
The Royer Labs R-122 is the phantom-powered, active version of the R-121. This model's internal amplifier yields a higher output level and better compatibility with lower gain or noisier mic preamps. The R-122 is more suitable for recording quiet sound sources.
Not to be confused with the R-122 LIVE, which offers a thicker ribbon element more suitable to live sound/stage environments.
