1964 Gibson EB-2 vintage bass guitar in stunning Sunburst that has naturally aged beautifully. This was made by Gibson in their legendary Kalamazoo, Michigan factory. The EB-2 was released in 1959 alongside the 335. It is a super cool bass that will stand out in any collection. Its incredible you can get a Gibson vintage bass over 60 years old for less than the price of a new mass-produced Gibson Custom Shop guitar. You can spend well over $10,000 just having Gibson make a brand new Murhpy Lab bass or guitar that is fake aged to make it look like this real aging. I'd rather have the real thing. Similar to the ES-335, the Gibson EB-2 was a semi-hollow bass with that classic Gibson shape. A single humbucker on the neck and a shorter scale length identify the EB-2 and set it apart from the likes of the EB-2D, which was released in '66 sporting two neck pickups. The EB-2's tone and style attracted notable bassists like Chas Chandler of the Animals and John Entwistle.
