Strymon Compadre is a VCA compressor circuit designed to be versatile1. It is a dual voice compressor and boost pedal that offers many options for how you might want to switch in the different sections when needed2. The device is more than a compressor and is a logical follow-up to the Strymon OB.1 which Strymon has discontinued1. The Compadre is nicely responsive to your touch and feels very natural to play through2. It provides a plethora of great-sounding tone-shaping options that smoothly segued from subtle to essential3.
