Vintage Marshall JCM 800 1960A — Celestion G12-65, Original Cones

Four vintage UK-made Celestion G12-65s are at the heart of this early-1980s Marshall 1960A: an appealing starting point for warm highs, strong mids and the physical presence of an angled 4x12. Made in England, this JCM 800 Lead Series cabinet is the 260-watt, 16-ohm version. For a player building a classic-rock or hard-rock rig, the speaker complement is a particularly compelling detail.

All four speakers retain their original factory cones; none has been reconed.

CONDITION

Listed as Very Good, with vintage cosmetic wear including scuffs, marks and wear to the rear covering. The speaker chassis show age-related oxidation/patina. The grille cloth, logo, recessed side handles and corner protectors present well for their age.

The cabinet has black Levant covering, the large Marshall logo and JCM 800 Lead Series badge. Please examine all photos for the actual condition and speaker details.
