BUILD & DESIGN
This microphone system features two independent dynamic capsules mounted at an angle inside a durable plastic body, offering natural stereo imaging or flexible dual-mono capture. Each capsule has its own dedicated output, now professionally adapted with balanced XLR connectors.

One especially clever feature is the rotating head mechanism, which includes fixed stops at 0°, 90°, 180°, and other key positions — but also allows free placement at any angle in between. This gives users a fast way to recall stereo angles or quickly flip the orientation while still allowing for fine-tuned positioning when capturing complex sound sources. Whether you're recording two sources face-to-face, tracking a room in wide stereo, or opening an amp up to stereo, this flexibility makes the GDSM 331 a creative and adaptable tool.

Its compact and lightweight form makes it ideal for mobile setups or creative stereo positioning. Despite its plastic housing, the build feels sturdy and the design purposeful and classic, true to the practical design principles of the 1960s.

SOUND & APPLICATIONS
THE GDSM 331 delivers the unmistakable charm of vintage European dynamic mics — smooth highs, present mids, and a rounded low-end response. In stereo mode, the offset capsules capture a distinct, wide image with a retro character perfect for room recordings, acoustic setups, or creative vocal layering. As a dual mono mic, each side can be independently positioned to cover instruments, interviews, or even stereo guitar cabinets.

These microphones have been fully serviced and cleaned, and are in perfect working condition. Both capsules perform beautifully and have been tested extensively. The original DIN connectors have been replaced with modern balanced XLR outputs, making this vintage gem truly plug-and-play in any contemporary studio or live setup.
