IONIC 24 is the perfect I/O expansion for the eMotion LV1 live mixing console, complementing the LV1's already exceptional sonic performance and ensuring quick and easy setup. Built for the demands of touring and installation alike, it combines flagship Waves Signature preamp technology with a robust, road-ready chassis and redundant power supply design.

Key elements of its design:

• 24 Waves Signature Preamps Equipped with 24 Waves Signature Preamps featuring fully discrete analog circuits with maximum headroom, fast transient response, and a low noise floor, the IONIC 24 captures every nuance of the input source. The equivalent input noise reaches –130 dBu at 60 dB gain, A-weighted, with THD+N of –100 dB. Gain is adjustable from –3 dB to 60 dB in 1 dB steps.
• HMX Harmonic Enhancement The HMX harmonic enhancement feature allows you to choose between timeless analog warmth and a more neutral sound per input. The HMX harmonic enhancer delivers a rich, full-bodied sound usually found only in high-end mixing consoles, without compromising any punch or clarity.
• Selectable Input Impedance Analog input impedance is selectable between classic 2 kΩ and modern 7 kΩ per input, giving engineers precise control over the tonal character and transducer interaction of every source on stage.
• 18 Analog Outputs with Selectable Levels The IONIC 24 provides 18 line outputs with selectable levels so you can match specific studio or stage gear, whether interfacing with stage wedges, in-ear monitors, or PA systems. Two independent high-power headphone outputs allow critical verification on stage or in the monitor position.
• AES3 Digital I/O The IONIC 24 features one stereo AES input and two stereo AES outputs, enabling clean digital integration with consoles and outboard gear.
• SoundGrid Network Integration Devices are connected to the eMotion LV1 application via Ethernet cables and can be up to 100 meters from the SoundGrid-compatible Ethernet switch. The secure etherCON port is designed for simple hookup to an eMotion LV1 live mixer or any other SoundGrid-compatible hardware or software.
• Redundant Power Supply A redundant PSU external input enables the stagebox to continue working even if the primary power supply fails, providing mission-critical reliability on tour and in fixed installations. The unit supports both 100–240 V mains and 24 VDC external input with auto-switching.
• LV1 Console Control Integration IONIC's control panel is available in the LV1's device rack, letting you control various preamp and output parameters directly from the mixer without missing a beat.
