I'm selling this mythical 1977 Electro Harmonix Big Muff PI V3, by Bob Myer and Mike Matthews
All original, it has the very same circuit of the Ram's Head, the EH3003!!!
All V3 circuit boards were marked with the number 3003 and a stylized “EH” symbol, with an identical circuit trace pattern to the V2. The component values, while much more consistent than V1 and V2 Big Muffs, this one has the greats boxed caps and BC239 transistors.
Pots dates 1977, as shown, no "AC" written on the top, with the On/Off switch (before the tone bypass change).
I sounds like a creamy beast, with stable low mids and a strong, well-balanced deep fuzz distortion, unique to this older model!!
It's in very good shape and works perfectly with no problems at all.
