The Scuzz Box features two distinct voicing modes: Fuzz and Scuzz.

Fuzz Mode delivers a classic, highly versatile fuzz sound with outstanding note definition. It cuts effortlessly through a band mix and excels at singing lead lines, soaring solos, and long, sustaining notes. Even power chords remain clear, tight, and well-defined.

Scuzz Mode unleashes the pedal's wild side. Here you'll find aggressive, unpredictable fuzz textures with signature Velcro-style gating, a ripping, torn-speaker character, and a distinctive lo-fi 8-bit-inspired voice.

An integrated buffer helps prevent unwanted oscillation, preserves signal clarity, and minimizes tone loss when using longer cable runs. If preferred, the buffer can be completely removed from the signal path, allowing true bypass operation.

Technology

The Scuzz Box is built around a discrete transistor circuit with a precision-engineered design for maximum performance. Carefully selected internal bias components give the pedal its unique response, feel, and unmistakable voice. Like all KHDK pedals, the Scuzz Box is handcrafted, tested, and quality-assured in Kentucky, USA.
