I’m selling my Empirical Labs Distressor EL8-X dynamic compressor, an essential classic for mastering and production. It is in good condition: the left rack ear was damaged three years ago after it fell from waist height during a move (see photos). This has not affected the unit’s operation in any way: the sound is impeccable. One ear is slightly bent, there are minor scuffs on the white knobs, and the “British Mode 1:1” switch is bent but still functional. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
