Studio-Quality Vocal Stompbox for Large Group-Sound Effects

Eight voices of doubling in one stomp

Critical Mass takes the doubling effect further than any other TC Helicon pedal. One footswitch unlocks an eight-voice unison choir engine that makes your single vocal sound like a fully tracked group, with subtle timing and pitch variations across each voice so the result feels human, not robotic.

Smart Sense activation

The Smart Sense mode lets the pedal automatically engage on the parts of a song where a big chorus matters and back off on intimate verses. Set it once and the pedal does the dynamic work for you. Or assign it to a footswitch for full hands-on control.

Built to gig

XLR in, XLR out, 48V phantom power, true bypass, and a standard 9V power input. Critical Mass is the easiest way to turn a small acoustic duo into a stadium chorus moment.
