Up for sale is a 1990s Ludwig Acrolite in the sought-after Black Galaxy finish.
A true studio and stage classic, this seamless aluminum snare is known for its warm, dry, and articulate sound, making it one of the most versatile snares ever produced. It performs beautifully across virtually any musical style.
The drum is in good overall condition for its age. The Black Galaxy finish is well preserved and presents very nicely. The chrome hardware shows some light pitting and cosmetic wear, particularly on the hoops, consistent with normal use and age (please refer to the photos). None of this affects the drum's functionality or performance.
