The YAIBA Snare Drum is a 6-ply maple shell drum. It has the Japanese Sword design, 2.3mm hoops and is extremely resonant and articulate. This one is has 6.5″ x 14″ sizes and high gloss lacquer finish, in trans black where you can the beautiful wood.
This warm toned maple drum was made IN JAPAN with all the attention to detail you'd expect from the innovative craftsmen at Canopus. Efficiencies in overall production time have helped reduce the cost while maintaining a high level of quality. This snare features Triple-flanged hoops, Eight lightweight Sword lugs, Remo USA heads, and Vintage Canopus Japan made series wires.
This snare drum is being used by rock, funk, county and jazz drummers. Very versatile.
