The Tama MBSS55BN-CRW Starclassic Performer Snare 14" x 5.5" Crimson Red Waterfall is a limited-edition snare from the Starclassic Performer series, featuring Black Nickel hardware and Evans heads. Its high-quality shell is crafted using hybrid construction, consisting of 6 plies (4-ply birch + 2 inner plies of maple, 6 mm total thickness). This combination of woods gives the Starclassic Hybrid shell clear, cutting projection from the birch, perfectly balanced with the deep warmth of maple. The cast hoops and Starclassic lugs focus the sound, while the proven MCS70 throw-off allows precise tuning and fine adjustment. Visually, the snare is finished in a modern Crimson Red Waterfall lacquer that pairs elegantly with the black hardware.
