Probably the most sought after Teisco model on the market, this ultra cool 1960s Japanese electric guitar is celebrated for its wild styling & complex electronics. It features a mahogany "German carve" body, split mono/stereo outputs & unique "rainbow" switches. Fully inspected & professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds terrific!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches & some finish wear.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful striped ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Closed-back tuners work great. 1 5/8" nut width with zero fret; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany body with a deep "German-style" carved top & multi-layer binding. Teisco tremolo tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge. 3-ply cream pickguar & control plate which match the headstock plate. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 4.1 oz.
Electronics: 3 split single coils with two separate halves to divide bass & treble strings. Five 2-way push switches (for pickup selection & phase control) plus a Mono/Stereo switch. Stereo output jack allows you to route the bass strings to one amplifier & treble strings to another. Master volume & tone controls, however, both knobs say volume. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
